Embark on a Magical Journey at LADD’s Fully Inclusive Summer Camp!

Ignite your child’s imagination at the LADD Miami Circus Arts Summer Camp, running weekly from June 9 to August 8, 2025, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the dynamic LADD Miami Circus Arts Center (1395 NW 22nd St, Miami, FL 33142). This inclusive, transformative program welcomes children ages 3–17, with a distinctive focus on empowering kids with special needs to discover the joy of circus and performing arts in a supportive, vibrant environment. Free meal is included.

Supported by Miami-Dade County and The Children’s Trust, LADD’s camp embodies its mission to uplift Miami’s diverse communities by fostering creativity, confidence, and connection through circus arts. For children with special needs—such as autism, sensory processing disorders, Down syndrome, or physical disabilities—the camp offers a tailored, nurturing experience. LADD’s dedicated team provides individualized accommodations, including one-on-one aides when needed, sensory-friendly modifications, adaptive equipment, and flexible activity pacing. These thoughtful approaches ensure every camper can engage comfortably, build self-esteem, enhance social skills, and express their unique creativity. Instructors work closely with families to understand each child’s needs, creating a personalized, empowering experience that celebrates their abilities.

Led by experts in circus and performing arts, campers dive into a thrilling array of activities: aerial arts (hammock, silks, lyra, trapeze), acrobatics, tumbling, trampoline, juggling, act creation, crafting, dance, games, face painting, and balloon twisting. For children with special needs, activities are adapted to highlight their strengths, ensuring they feel included and celebrated.

Each week introduces a fresh, exciting theme, inspiring campers to collaborate on original performances showcased to families every Friday at 2:30 PM. These performances are thoughtfully designed to accommodate all abilities, allowing children to shine through solo acts or group routines in ways that feel rewarding and fun. LADD’s commitment to inclusion extends beyond the camp, as it actively partners with local organizations to provide ongoing circus arts programs for children with special needs, promoting long-term growth and community connection.
